Day

Day in a life is a life in a day.
Born each morn, mind and body, infant bound,
stumble in wonder’s awe of child like play,
awoken from infinite sleep unbound.

As sun climbs high to noon sky, mind on earth,
with body frolic, explore potential.
As sun falls to event horizon berth,
a restless life interplay blooms fertile.

Contemplation rises as dusk descends,
a sense of the end lights the coming dark.
Bittersweet reflection of past ascends
as sun life light sets in a blackness stark.

Time to time I fancifully proclaim,
that each passing moment is just the same.
