Glittering dawn sunlight on grass bedewed,
an oppressive hot dayís sudden soft breeze,
a brisk winter nightís swirling snow bestrewed,
or a silver sliver on moonlit trees.
Quiver of butterfly fluttering wings,
hummingbirdís pollen seeking dancing tongue,
hunting catís ass wiggle before it springs,
or a stallionís skin shiver when fly stung.
A face impassive during an uproar,
a youthís whisper behind authority,
eyes who hide the love of who they adore,
or an artful artistís peek at beauty.
To look for all that is small and subtle
is to fall for the wondrous actual.
