Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia

The eastern side of Russia°s Kamchatka Peninsula juts into the Pacific Ocean
west of Alaska. In this winter image, a volcanic terrain is hidden under
snow-covered peaks and valley glaciers feed blue ice into coastal waters.
