Good and bad contend in moral outrage,
rebuke thrives as the universal rule,
accompanied by a pious rampage
where all is sanctimonious and cruel.

The dispute of yes and no fills the mind,
shall crucial step be taken or withdrawn?
This twofold dilemma leaves all purblind,
where nothing but ambivalence will spawn.

With rigorous war over right or wrong,
open objective duet by science
closes into a subjective singsong
where all codas in discord’s alliance.

Light is a particle, light is a wave,
this particular truth we cannot waive.
