Feelings
From deep within the gravitation’s tow
of our long planetary history,
sunned by a childhood oceanic flow,
and streaming in apparent mystery
through our daily orbiting lives, feelings,
brief or lingering, distort and alter
reality’s simplicity to yearnings
for a preconceived either/or altar.
Thus our emperor’s new clothes perception
hurricanes into regressive bias
where a vortex spiral of commotion,
with a divisive right and wrong crisis,
stirs sediment of colored sentiment
that incite prejudice of clear judgment.
