Politician

The art of what I say and what I do,
inspire voters with faux sincerity,
skill in disassembling my true value,
lead all to spread my power most deftly.

See not need but want of many the goal,
orate daring impossibilities
with serpent’s eagle eye on latest poll
while nesting immense hidden larcenies.

What’s good for the people is bad for me,
what’s good for me is bad for the people.
Weapons of mass distraction they can’t see
make this no gamble but a spring gambol.

Way up high when he or she speechify,
way down low we all know here comes a lie.
